Tell kids they’re eating alien brains! The raw garlic really packs a kick.

1/2 package of pasta or rice spaghetti
1 bunch spinach or 1 head broccoli
1 cup almond, soy, or rice milk
1-2 cloves garlic
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup slivered almonds
salt and pepper to taste (needs lots but not too much)
cilantro or parsley for garnishing

Toast the almonds until golden. Set aside.

Steam the spinach or broccoli til bright green and soft. Put all of it in a blender and add milk, garlic, olive oil, salt and pepper. Puree until smooth and velvety. Serve cooked pasta into bowls, top generously with sauce, and sprinkle toasted almonds and cilantro or parsley. Serve with tomato onion salad and bread.
